Burned male body found inside vehicle in Pendik
In Istanbul's Pendik district, a man named Sebahattin Tatlı lost his life after drinking thinner, pouring the rest inside his vehicle, and setting himself on fire.
According to the information obtained, the incident occurred in the Fatih neighborhood of Pendik district at 23:00.
Allegedly, Sebahattin Tatlı parked his vehicle with license plate 06 BER 624 on a side street.
He reportedly drank the thinner he had taken from the shipyard where he worked, then poured the rest inside the vehicle and set himself on fire. In the incident, Sebahattin Tatlı lost his life by burning inside the vehicle.
Citizens in the vicinity noticed the smell of thinner coming from the vehicle.
Upon notification, numerous police, medical, and crime scene investigation teams were dispatched to the scene. The medical teams arriving at the scene transported the male body, which was found partially burned inside the vehicle, to the Forensic Medicine Institute.
Police teams arriving at the scene secured the street where the incident took place with police tape and launched a detailed investigation into the matter.
