Bursa's first public restaurant is opening
The Osmangazi Public Restaurant, where the Osmangazi Municipality will offer citizens a 4-course meal for only 80 liras, opens on Monday, June 10, at 11:30 AM.
Aiming to provide healthy meals at an affordable price to the residents of Osmangazi, Osmangazi Municipality is opening Bursa's first public restaurant.
The Osmangazi Public Restaurant, which will open in Osmangazi Square, will serve citizens every weekday between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM.
It will be closed on weekends and public holidays. The Public Restaurant, which will produce 1,000 meals daily, will sell a four-course meal for 80 liras.
'WE WILL PROVIDE MEALS FOR 1,000 PEOPLE'
Osmangazi Mayor Erkan Aydın stated that they will provide low-income citizens with the opportunity to eat at an affordable price through the Osmangazi Public Restaurant, saying, "Meals at the public restaurant will be self-service. It will serve 300-350 people at the same time. In the first stage, we will provide meals for 1,000 people daily. Our goal is not to be a rival to local tradespeople, nor to compete with them. It is to provide affordable food service to our low-income citizens."
