In Tokat, Sercan C. (35) boarded a passenger bus belonging to the Topçam company, which was traveling from Şanlıurfa to Samsun, in Kayseri. Sercan C. attempted to take passengers hostage by breaking a soda bottle he had with him.
The bus driver, noticing the situation, warned the passengers and helped them off the bus, while the individual took the attendant hostage. Upon notification, police teams were dispatched to the scene. Sercan C. was apprehended and taken into custody during a police operation.
Following the incident, the passengers boarded the bus and continued their journey to Samsun, while the interrogation of the detained suspect is ongoing.
