Businessman Ömer Hakan Tolon dies after go-kart track accident
Renowned businessman Ömer Hakan Tolon (52), who was critically injured in an accident at a go-kart track in the Nazilli district of Aydın, has passed away at the İzmir City Hospital where he was receiving treatment.
Ömer Hakan Tolon, who lost control of his vehicle and had an accident at a go-kart track in the Nazilli district of Aydın on February 15, 2025, saw his vehicle catch fire upon impact, and his heart had stopped at the scene.
Later resuscitated by medical teams, Tolon was transferred to the İzmir Bayraklı City Hospital by air ambulance following initial intervention.

The 52-year-old businessman, who had been receiving treatment there for some time, passed away despite the intensive efforts of doctors.
Meanwhile, it was stated that Tolon's funeral will be held on May 2, 2025, at the İzmir Çiğli Atatürk Organized Industrial Zone Mosque following the afternoon prayer, and he will be laid to rest at the Örnekköy Cemetery.
