Speaking from Northern Iraq, so-called leaders of the PKK terrorist organization stated that the organization has stopped taking any steps until Abdullah Öcalan is released.

A terrorist organization member named Amed Malazgirt spoke from a bunker on Qandil Mountain.

Malazgirt said, "All steps initiated by Öcalan have been taken. No further steps will be taken."

Amed Malazgirt stated that they would now wait for Turkey and noted that the group has two demands:

Another terrorist, Serda Mazlum Gabar, said, "As long as Öcalan is inside, the Kurdish people cannot be free. We cannot feel free either."

Gabar stated, "Our path to freedom passes through the freedom of Öcalan."

Gabar, who also said they were "ready" to participate in democratic politics in Turkey, explained that the organization needed to "undergo restructuring and restoration" for this purpose.
