Halk TV Chairman of the Board Cafer Mahiroğlu made a statement regarding Dündar on his social media account.
Announcing that Dündar has joined Halk TV, Mahiroğlu used the following expressions in his post:
"Having dedicated his life to thepublic's right to receive news, having contributed selflessly to Halk TV during its most difficult years, thedoyen of theTurkish press, our elder brother, dear Uğur Dündar, welcome back home. You are where you belong. We havemissed you verymuch."
