Çalık transferred to hospital again

Beylikdüzü Mayor Murat Çalık, who was arrested as part of investigations into the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) and sent back to prison just 48 hours after undergoing a risky surgery, has been hospitalized again.
Mehmet Murat Çalık, who had previously successfully completed cancer treatment twice, underwent two bone biopsies while in custody and was most recently operated on Tuesday, January 13, at İzmir Katip Çelebi Training and Research Hospital due to a mass detected in his neck.
Following his surgery, Çalık was transferred to the prison where he was being held on Thursday, January 15.
It has been learned that Çalık has been hospitalized again. Çalık was not taken to Katip Çelebi Hospital, where he had his surgery, but to İzmir City Hospital, where he had previously received treatment.
It was stated that his family and lawyers are trying to learn the details regarding Çalık's health condition.
