Call for Nobel Prize return to Daron Acemoğlu from AKP's Ahmet Hamdi Çamlı, known by the nickname 'Yeliz'
Former AKP deputy Ahmet Hamdi Çamlı, known by the nickname 'Yeliz', has called on Prof. Dr. Daron Acemoğlu, who was awarded the Nobel Prize in Economics, to return the award.
Ahmet Hamdi Çamlı, a former 26th and 27th term AKP Istanbul deputy who once served as the driver for AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, addressed Prof. Dr. Daron Acemoğlu, who received the Nobel Prize in Economics.
Çamlı, known to the public as "Yeliz," emphasized that Alfred Nobel was a bomb-maker and stated that massacres are being carried out in Gaza with bombs. He demanded that Acemoğlu return the award.
How wonderful it would be if you could say 'I cannot accept an award bearing the name of a Bomber' during a period when children and women are being torn apart under bombs, and send it back..!@DAcemogluMIT pic.twitter.com/YdZhbpNwPC

HE ALSO ADDRESSED ORHAN PAMUK AND AZIZ SANCAR
At the end of the video he shared, Çamlı made the same call to Orhan Pamuk and Aziz Sancar, who had previously received Nobel prizes.
Stating that if they return the award, they will have a place in people's hearts until the end of time, Çamlı called for a lesson to be taught to the bomb-makers.
