Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu has issued a call for the “The Nation Protects Its Will” rally to be organized by the Republican People's Party (CHP) in Sakarya.
In a post shared on the Presidential Candidate Office's social media account, İmamoğlu invited citizens to the rally to be held at Sakarya Democracy Square on Sunday, April 26, at 16:30. He stated, “We are meeting in Sakarya tomorrow. I will be with you from behind the screen.”
The post also included footage from a previous rally İmamoğlu attended in Sakarya. In the footage, İmamoğlu's words, “We will govern this country with the children of the nation,” were highlighted.
