Security guards at Çalık Holding beat former employee Erol Eğrek, who had been unable to receive his severance pay. Eğrek was taken to the hospital but could not be saved despite all interventions.

Calls are being made for people to gather in front of the Holding building in Gayrettepe starting at 16:30, with participation from unions, parties, and youth organizations such as FKF, Umut-Sen, TİP, Youth Committees, and Ekmek ve Onur.
