Can Holding Chairman of the Board Kenan Tekdağ released
Kenan Tekdağ, Chairman of the Board of Can Yayın Holding, who was in custody as part of an investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, has been released under judicial control measures in the form of house arrest.
As part of an investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office into allegations of establishing an organization for the purpose of committing crimes through companies operating under Can Holding, Kenan Tekdağ, who was detained in the first wave of operations in September 2025, had been subjected to judicial control measures including 'house arrest' and a 'ban on traveling abroad'.
Tekdağ, who was detained once again during the second wave of operations within the scope of the investigation, had been arrested on charges of 'being a member of a criminal organization for profit' and 'laundering assets derived from crime'.
Tekdağ, who had been in custody for approximately 5 months, was released today under judicial control measures in the form of house arrest.
