Can Holding Chairman of the Board Kemal Can, who was being sought as a fugitive, has been detained as part of an investigation into charges of "establishing a criminal organization," "tax evasion," "fraud," and "money laundering."
The Chief Public Prosecutor's Office had issued detention warrants for 10 executives of Can Holding, 6 of whom had been apprehended previously. Additionally, 130 companies within the holding were seized and trustees were appointed.
