Dr. Ali Başak Karatay, the husband of Canan Karatay, who frequently makes headlines with her statements on nutrition, has passed away.
The funeral for Dr. Ali Başak Karatay, who passed away at the age of 78, will be held on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, following the noon prayer at Moda Mosque, and he will be laid to rest in the family plot at Nakkaştepe Cemetery.
