Car hits a semi-truck and then a barrier! There are dead and injured
On the Kocaeli D100 Highway, a car traveling from behind struck a semi-truck that had moved into the middle lane to avoid a broken-down tow truck. The car then hit the barriers and was dragged for approximately 250 meters before coming to a stop. One person died and 3 people were injured in the accident.
The accident occurred on the D100 Highway in the Dilovası district, in the direction of Istanbul. According to the information obtained, a tow truck that was in motion stopped in the right lane due to a breakdown. A semi-truck that was traveling behind it moved into the middle lane to avoid hitting the tow truck.
At that moment, the Audi-brand car with license plate 41 APS 486, which was also in motion, hit the semi-truck first, then struck the barriers, and was dragged for approximately 250 meters before it could stop. Upon notification, health, police, and fire brigade teams were dispatched to the scene.

The health teams that arrived at the scene in a short time provided the first intervention to the injured. While Cengiz Baran, who was in the car, lost his life, Filiz D., Emre A., and the driver Ömer Y. were injured. The injured were taken into ambulances and transported to the hospital.

The vehicle was reduced to scrap metal due to the accident. It was learned that the semi-truck fled the scene, and the police have launched an investigation into the incident.
