Caught in October: That influencer met with the person laundering money for drug barons in Dubai!

Journalist Timur Soykan, in his latest article, included striking allegations regarding social media influencer and Hürriyet columnist Cihan Şensözlü. Soykan shared with the public the claims that Şensözlü met in Dubai with Hasan Lala, who is alleged to have laundered money for drug barons.

In his article, Soykan included the following statements regarding the matter:

"One of those detained in drug and prostitution operations was Cihan Şensözlü, who uses the name 'Cihanna' on his social media accounts.

It was understood from his social media posts that Cihan Şensözlü was living a very luxurious life that was inconsistent with the financial income he declared. He constantly had posts from abroad, in luxury hotels, on vacations, and wearing very expensive clothes. The prosecutor's investigation also determined that he traveled to Dubai, Paris, and London very frequently. Known as an influencer, Cihan Şensözlü was also promoting certain brands.

A secret witness alleged that Cihan Şensözlü took some female social media influencers to Dubai and acted as an intermediary for them to engage in sexual intercourse with Arab sheikhs in exchange for money.

Cihan Şensözlü did not accept the prostitution charges. He argued that he had not attended parties for 3 years and that his trips abroad were for vacation purposes.

In his statement, Cihan Şensözlü says the following in response to a question:

'I did not meet with anyone in Dubai who had an arrest warrant against them in any way. I did not bring information from these people.'
