Coast Guard boats were dispatched to the region off the coast of Bodrum, Muğla, following reports of irregular migrants and a request for assistance. The teams rescued one irregular migrant in a rubber boat and also apprehended one person attempting to leave the country illegally.

The migrant brought to shore was sent to the Muğla Provincial Directorate of Migration Management. Additionally, one person attempting to leave the country illegally was taken into custody.
