Caused chaos at Kışla Mosque: Child who threw firecrackers at the congregation has been sought for 2 years
A child threw firecrackers into the Kışla Mosque in Elazığ during the afternoon prayer. The firecrackers thrown by the child caused panic among the congregation.
The incident, which took place in October 2023, came to light after security camera footage was released. A child who entered Kışla Mosque while the afternoon prayer was being performed threw two firecrackers at the congregation.
It was reported that the police are still continuing their efforts to apprehend the child who threw the firecrackers at the congregation more than two years ago.
It was stated that one of the firecrackers thrown by the child caused the carpet in the mosque to catch fire. On the day the incident occurred, it was noted that the congregation interrupted their prayer to deal with the fire that had broken out.
Police teams, who are examining the security camera footage, are continuing their work to identify the suspect child.
