Police teams have taken security measures with iron barriers at the grave of Cem Garipoğlu, who murdered Münevver Karabulut, in Üsküdar, which is set to be opened today.
Münevver Karabulut was murdered by Cem Garipoğlu in a villa in Bahçeşehir in 2009.

Garipoğlu was found dead in his cell on October 10, 2014. Following allegations regarding whether the deceased person was indeed Cem Garipoğlu, the Karabulut family requested an exhumation through their lawyers.

Accepting the request, the Silivri Chief Public Prosecutor's Office issued an instruction to the Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor's Office for the opening of Cem Garipoğlu's grave. The prosecutor's office decided that the grave at the Karacaahmet Cemetery in Üsküdar would be opened on Thursday, October 3, at 11:00. Bone samples to be taken from Garipoğlu's remains will be used for identity matching.

While Garipoğlu's grave is expected to be opened today (October 3) at 11:00 by prosecutors and lawyers, police teams, riot police, and security units took measures with barriers in front of the cemetery in the morning hours.
