Cem Küçük said 'those calling for a boycott will be summoned to testify' and listed names: Prosecutor's office launched an investigation

University students have expanded the boycott call initiated by the CHP following the operation targeting the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB).

Students launched a campaign stating, "We are using our economic power and taking a one-day break from consumption after the holiday," and called for a boycott on April 2.

Many well-known figures, business owners, actors, singers, business people, politicians, and influencers have supported this call.

PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE LAUNCHED AN INVESTIGATION

The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has taken action. The Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has launched an ex officio investigation into individuals who made "boycott" calls with the intent to obstruct the economy and using divisive rhetoric, on charges of "Hate and Discrimination" and "Inciting the Public to Hatred and Hostility."

CEM KÜÇÜK LISTED NAMES ONE BY ONE

Following the news of the investigation, Cem Küçük, speaking on the program titled 'Taksim Meydanı' on TGRT Haber, listed the names to be summoned to testify tomorrow during the live broadcast.

"Let me tell you who will be summoned to testify regarding the boycott call. Those who divide the nation will be summoned to testify for 'inciting the public to hatred and hostility'," said Küçük, adding, "Bir Zamanlar İstanbul actor Murat Daltaban, Emre Kınay, and Aybüke Pusat are among the names to be summoned over the boycott call."

He used the expressions, "You are calling for a boycott while both acting in a state-produced series and committing a hate crime of discrimination."

Barış Yarkadaş and lawyer Selahattin Par reacted after Cem Küçük listed the names.
