Explosive remarks from Cem Küçük to Yılmaz Özdil: 'An apparatus disguised as an opposition figure...'

Cem Küçük, a columnist for the pro-government newspaper Türkiye, made very harsh comments about Yılmaz Özdil, who left Sözcü.

In his column titled "Oppose for years, then say 'I've come to the center'!", Küçük used the terms "coward" and "apparatus disguised as an opposition figure" for Yılmaz Özdil.

"Yılmaz Özdil was fired from Sözcü newspaper and Sözcü TV... It can happen. We all get fired sometimes. This is a routine occurrence for journalists..." said Cem Küçük, adding, "In reality, the only concern of Yılmaz Özdil and those like him is to maintain their own power. Uğur Dündar is this model, and the late Bekir Coşkun was too... They don't care about the CHP or the party they defend. What matters is that they are always at the forefront, that they are constantly talked about..."

"In the last 24 years, these apparatuses disguised as opposition figures have done the greatest 'service' to the AK Party. They lied to their masses just to maintain their own power," commented Küçük, continuing as follows:

"They sold an 'Atatürk' book that contained not a single source at an exorbitant price. I don't feel sorry for that audience because they deserve Yılmaz Özdil and his likes. Now the opposition is angry at Özdil. Why are you angry? Özdil's concern isn't for the CHP to come to power! Which of Özdil's criticisms has ever bothered the government? I'll say it, none of them."

Touching upon Yılmaz Özdil's criticism of Özgür Özel's title deed claims, Cem Küçük concluded his article by saying, "He criticized Özgür Özel regarding the title deed nonsense because he was 'scared to death' of Akın Gürlek. Otherwise, who would believe his claim of being 'impartial'? Did it occur to him to be impartial after 20 years? Özdil is a coward. He was always like that... Özdil shouldn't worry, in two or three years he will return to Sözcü or Halk TV again. Let him continue to keep his audience sedated..."
