Prof. Dr. Cem Say, who had been dismissed by the trustee administration at Boğaziçi University on the grounds that he initiated legal proceedings against appointments made at the university, was reinstated to his post yesterday by a court order.

However, Cem Say was dismissed from his post again today by a decision of the dean.

Announcing his dismissal on his social media account, Say stated, “You won’t believe it, but the Dean who appointed me yesterday according to the court order has dismissed me from my position as Department Head again today (using the same grounds presented by the Rectorate, which the court did not find credible :) Do you think I will give up?”
