Cemal Enginyurt's striking comparison of CHP and the Democrat Party: 'Since I arrived, my God, I've been bewildered...'

Attending the opening of the Karamürsel Municipality Wrestling Training Center in Bursa, CHP Istanbul Deputy Cemal Enginyurt made headlines with his speech there. Enginyurt made significant remarks by evaluating his political experiences in both the CHP and the Democrat Party.

In his speech, comparing the period he spent in the Democrat Party with the experiences he has had since joining the CHP, Enginyurt used the following expressions:

“When I was in the Democrat Party, my biggest political activity was attending the funeral of an elderly uncle. Since I came to the CHP, my God, I've been bewildered.

Since I arrived at the CHP, I've been dealing with the Vatan Security Directorate, the Çağlayan Courthouse, Silivri Prison, the Saraçhane vigil, the Beşiktaş Municipality vigil, pepper spray, barricades, and batons.

Why? Because the man's only concern is the CHP. And there is such a high level of 'Ekrem pain' that this brother Recep cannot sleep because of his Ekrem pains. Will it pass? It will pass. He should be patient.

We will end the Ekrem pain. On the first day the ballot box arrives, we will bury Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in the ballot box.”
