Certain areas in 6 provinces declared natural sites and protected areas
The decisions of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change regarding the registration of certain locations in 6 provinces as "natural site-qualified natural protected areas" and "natural site-sustainable protection and controlled use areas" have been published in the Official Gazette.
According to the decisions of the General Directorate for the Protection of Natural Assets of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change published in the Official Gazette, the Kurbağalıdere location in Kadıköy, Istanbul, and the region within the borders of Ovacık and Civler villages in the central district of Çanakkale have been registered as natural site-qualified natural protected areas.
The Şeytan Deresi first, second, and third section potential natural site area, located within the borders of the Silifke-Erdemli district of Mersin, has been declared a "natural site-qualified natural protected area" and a "natural site-sustainable protection and controlled use area."
The Halgent Waterfall and the Süleymaniye neighborhood and its surroundings in the central district of Gümüşhane have been designated as a "potential natural site area," while the Sapanca Lake Stage 3/A Natural Site Area in Sakarya and the Kocahan location Stage Natural Site Area in the Didim district of Aydın have been designated as "natural site-sustainable protection and controlled use areas."
