Certain vehicles banned from crossing to Bozcaada during the holiday

In accordance with a decision taken by the Provincial Traffic Commission, trucks, semi-trucks, construction machinery, buses with a capacity of 33 people or more, and midibuses with a capacity of 19 to 32 people will not be allowed to cross to the tourism hub of Bozcaada district in Çanakkale, located in the North Aegean Sea, during the Ramadan Feast.

Reflecting a small town with its atmosphere, narrow streets featuring old Greek houses with distinct architecture, seafood restaurants, Turkey's best-preserved historical castle, pristine bays, clean and ice-cold sea, as well as its proximity to Istanbul, the tourism center of Bozcaada is a favorite for holidaymakers coming from surrounding provinces, especially Istanbulites.

Entry of certain vehicles to Bozcaada, the tourism hub of Çanakkale in the North Aegean Sea, which is a preferred destination for many, has been banned during the Ramadan Feast. During the Ramadan Feast, trucks, semi-trucks, construction machinery, buses with a capacity of 33 people or more, and midibuses with a capacity of 19 to 32 people will not be permitted to cross to the island.

In line with the decision taken by the Provincial Traffic Commission, it was stated that, "On the Geyikli-Bozcaada line, between 10.04.2024 and 14.04.2024, vehicles of the type truck, semi-truck, construction machinery, bus (33+ capacity), and midibus (19-32 capacity) are not permitted to cross to Bozcaada."
