Chain-reaction accident in Kırıkkale: Vehicles reduced to scrap
Four people were injured in a chain-reaction traffic accident in Kırıkkale involving an excavator and two cars.
In the accident that occurred in the Yahşihan district on the Kırıkkale-Ankara D-200 highway, according to the information obtained, a car driven by Ö.B. collided with an excavator driven by I.M. near the New Industrial Junction.
2 CARS RENDERED UNUSABLE
The car, which went out of control, struck a car with license plate 71 BF 982 driven by S.G. that was in motion. Four people were injured in the traffic accident, and 2 cars were rendered unusable.
Upon notification to the 112 Emergency Call Center, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. The driver Ö.B., who was injured in the accident, along with passengers A.E., F.K., and E.Ö., were taken to the hospital by ambulances. It was learned that the health status of the injured, who were taken under treatment, is good.
The Kırıkkale direction of the highway, which was closed to traffic due to the accident, was reopened to transportation after the vehicles were removed from the road by a tow truck.
An investigation into the accident has been initiated.
