One person lost their life and four others were injured in a chain-reaction traffic accident that occurred on the Balıkesir section of the Izmir-Istanbul Highway.
One SUV and six cars were involved in a chain-reaction traffic accident that occurred on the Balıkesir section of the Izmir-Istanbul Highway. As a result of the accident, Fehmi Zafer Heperler (73), who was in the SUV, lost his life at the scene, while 4 people in the vehicles were injured. The injured were taken to Savaştepe State Hospital by medical teams.
In the accident that took place in the Akpınar area of Balıkesir, the body of Fehmi Zafer Heperler, who lost his life, was taken to the morgue of the same hospital following examinations. A detailed investigation into the accident has been initiated, and an inquiry is ongoing to determine the cause of the incident.
