Change to KYK student loans published in the Official Gazette
An amendment has been made to the Ministry of Youth and Sports Loan Regulation. The decision has been published in the Official Gazette.
The repeal of the fifth paragraph of Article 19 of the Ministry of Youth and Sports Loan Regulation has been published in today's issue of the Official Gazette.
With this change, the paragraph of Article 19 of the relevant regulation, which stated, "If the debtor pursues postgraduate education without interrupting their studies, they are required to repay their debt in monthly installments over a period equal to the duration of the loan received, starting two years after the date their connection with the educational institution where they pursued their postgraduate studies is severed," has been repealed.
