Child hit by car in Ümraniye gets up and walks away in shock! Driver flees the scene

The accident occurred in Ümraniye on April 3 at approximately 17:30. According to the information obtained, the driver of a Fiat Egea brand car, which was traveling on the street, hit 11-year-old Yunus Emre Bozdemir and trapped him underneath.

The child, who remained under the car for a while, was dragged before suddenly crawling out from under the vehicle in the shock of the accident and continuing to walk. The driver asked the child he hit, 'Are you in pain?' Upon the child saying 'no,' the driver got into his car and left the scene.

DRIVER FLED THE SCENE WITHOUT CALLING AN AMBULANCE

While the injured child's treatment continues in the hospital, the moment of the accident was reflected on security cameras. The footage shows the moving vehicle trapping the child, the child crawling out from under the car in the shock of the accident and walking, the driver approaching him, and then getting into his car and driving away.

Yunus Emre Bozdemir's father, Abdulbaki Bozdemir, said, "A person hit my son with a car and ran away. It was a gray car. We couldn't get the license plate. We obtained the camera footage. He asks my son, 'Are you in pain?' and he says 'no.' Instead of calling an ambulance, he runs away. I am filing a complaint; I want the authorities to find this person as soon as possible. My son has a broken arm. He has injuries to his spleen. He is currently under observation. According to the doctors, it looks like he will be hospitalized for another month."
