According to reports, citizens who spotted the body on the surface of the water under the Kesikbaş Bridge in the Yeşilırmak River in the Turhal district notified the 112 Emergency Call Center. Health, police, and Turhal Municipality fire department teams were dispatched to the scene.
Fire department teams entered the river, secured the body with ropes, and brought it to the shore. While efforts to identify the individual are underway, authorities are focusing on the possibility that the body was carried to the area by the river's current. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
