Chilling murder in Istanbul: Woman has ex-boyfriend killed by her new partner

A chilling murder has been committed in Istanbul's Kağıthane district.

According to the information obtained, Serdar K. (50) and Zahide B., who were in a relationship, broke up some time ago. During this period, Zahide B. began a relationship with Fikret Ö. However, Serdar K., who would not leave his ex-girlfriend alone, called Zahide B. on the day of the incident and said he wanted to meet.

THEY SET A TRAP AND ATTACKED

Upon this, the woman informed her partner Fikret Ö. of the situation, and they devised a plan to invite her ex-boyfriend Serdar K. to her home. Zahide B., Fikret Ö., Seher Ö., and Emre K. (41), who were in the house, began waiting for Serdar K.

A short while later, Serdar K. arrived in front of the building with his friend Hakan B. At that moment, Emre K. came running from the street and attempted to fire a handgun at Serdar K., but the weapon jammed.

NEW PARTNER KILLED THE EX-BOYFRIEND

Serdar K. fled into the building, where he was met and attacked by his ex-girlfriend Zahide B., her partner Fikret Ö., and Seher Ö.

Caught off guard, Serdar K. was stabbed in 4 places on his body by Fikret Ö. with a fruit knife. The severely injured man was taken by his friend Hakan B., who had accompanied him, to the Okmeydanı Prof. Dr. Cemil Taşçıoğlu City Hospital in Şişli by private vehicle. Despite all interventions, Serdar K., who was immediately taken into surgery, lost his life.

HE THREW THE KNIFE INTO THE TOILET, WASHED IT, AND PUT IT IN THE DRAWER

Police teams, arriving at the scene following reports from citizens, conducted an investigation in the area. When the police arrived at Zahide B.'s home and the door was opened, they found Fikret Ö.'s clothes and the floor covered in blood. Consequently, the 4 individuals inside were detained. The police, taking the statement of Seher Ö. who was in the house, reported that she said she had first thrown the knife used in the incident into the toilet, then washed it and placed it in a kitchen drawer. During the search of the building, an unlicensed handgun and cartridges were found inside the water meter box of the apartment.

MURDER SUSPECT ARRESTED

Following the investigation, the detained individuals Fikret Ö., Zahide B., Emre K., and Seher Ö. were taken to the police station.

During their statements at the police station, Fikret Ö. confessed that he was the one who stabbed Serdar K. Emre K. stated that he had attempted to fire the gun but it had jammed. Of the individuals referred to the courthouse after their procedures, Fikret Ö. was arrested by the court on charges of "intentional homicide" and sent to prison. The other 3 individuals were released under judicial control.

On the other hand, it was revealed that Emre K. had 11 prior criminal records, and Fikret Ö. had 2.
