CHP's Başarır reacts sharply to the detention of Cem Yiğit Üzümoğlu

CHP Group Deputy Chairman Ali Mahir Başarır reacted to the detention of actor Cem Yiğit Üzümoğlu due to 'boycott' investigations.

In a post on his social media account, Başarır quoted a news report regarding Üzümoğlu's detention and stated the following:

'YOU ARE PATHETIC PEOPLE WHO PLAY WITH PEOPLE'S BREAD'

'You will not be able to digest this, you will not be able to silence us! Is a boycott a right when Erdoğan does it, but a crime when an artist does it?
