With the trustee it appointed to the Van Metropolitan Municipality, the ruling party has removed 11 elected mayors from office in 11 months.

After Bekir Kaya and Bedia Özgökçe Ertan, the will of the people of Van has been trampled upon for the 3rd time in a row, and Abdullah Zeydan has been unlawfully prevented from serving the city where he won the elections.

Tayyip Erdoğan is continuing the coup-plotting tradition that Kenan Evren started by removing Terzi Fikri from office in Fatsa. No democrat should remain silent about this.
