CHP Chairman Özgür Özel also made statements to Halktv regarding current issues.

Özel said the following on the topics on the agenda:

"If there are trustees, they will find another pretext, but if something like that happens in Istanbul, we will bring the sky down on their heads!

We raised the Presidential seal (before Erdoğan's visit to the CHP), they criticized it a lot, but this flag will fly at our headquarters after the next election; besides, it didn't stay there all morning, I said 'hoist it' when the President entered the street.

Speaking about internal party debates, Özel stated, "The CHP must move past these futile debates; we are still the leading party."
