CHP Chairman Özgür Özel reacts to Mine Kırıkkanat's comments on Kılıçdaroğlu: 'I condemn it in one word'

Quoting a news report claiming that Kılıçdaroğlu supported the deception regarding the "Student Oath" (Andımız), journalist Mine Kırıkkanat reshared it on her social media account with the note "Crypto sword remnant."

Kırıkkanat's expression directed at Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu sparked reactions. 

Following the comments under her post, Mine Kırıkkanat made another post, stating, "I sincerely apologize to my Alevi friends. I did not know the history of the term 'sword remnant.' I said this word in reference to Kılıçdaroğlu's surname. Please forgive my ignorance." However, this apology did not quell the reactions.

REACTION FROM ÖZGÜR ÖZEL

A harsh reaction to Kırıkkanat's posts also came from CHP Chairman Özgür Özel. Referring to Kırıkkanat as a "so-called writer" without using her name, CHP Chairman Özel included the following statements in his post:

"A so-called writer, to whose every kind of insult directed at me I have patiently remained silent for years, has this time insolently attacked Mr. Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu. The rights of our former Chairman are, first and foremost, entrusted to me. In one word: I CONDEMN IT."
