CHP Chairman Özgür Özel returns to Saraçhane
CHP Chairman Özgür Özel, who had gone to the Çağlayan Courthouse to closely follow the developments, decided to return to Saraçhane upon the request of Ekrem İmamoğlu after waiting there for a while.
Regarding his decision to return to Saraçhane, Özgür Özel made the following statements:
"Because Mayor Ekrem said, 'Let's not leave Saraçhane alone,' we are going to Saraçhane.
We will evaluate the situation with our administrators there.
We hope there will be no referral from the prosecutor's office to the court, but if there is, we will come here and follow the developments.
We know there will be a 1 to 1.5-hour waiting and referral period at the prosecutor's office.
After that, there could be a release or a referral to the court.
Mayor Ekrem said, 'Our home is Saraçhane, take care of your home.'"
