CHP Chairman Özgür Özel's reaction to 'trustee' appointment: We will never bow down

CHP Chairman Özgür Özel shared a post on his social media account regarding the police intervention at the Istanbul Provincial Headquarters and the removal of the Istanbul Provincial Administration to appoint a board of trustees, while he was participating in events marking the 102nd anniversary of his party.

In his post, Özel stated the following:

"I am sitting in the seat of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, who did not hand over the soldier Musa to the British in Kanapiçe!

We will not hand over any of our comrades to anyone.

When necessary, we have paid the price, we are paying it, and we will pay it!

But we will never bow down!"
