CHP commission member Tanrıkulu's 'consensus' statement: We will defend it

Addressing those who posted insults and profanity regarding his participation in the commission established for the new process, CHP's Tanrıkulu said, "My lawyers will open an investigation, and then you will be forced to call me."

CHP MP Sezgin Tanrıkulu made a statement regarding the commission established for what the government calls the 'Terrorism-Free Turkey' process, which is referred to in the public eye as the 'new solution process.' Tanrıkulu said, "We are also in favor of peace in Turkey. Let there be no weapons, no conflict, no violence, and no terrorism. We are in favor of resolving Turkey's Kurdish issue through a consensus. A commission has been established in Parliament. 10 members have been appointed from the CHP. One of them is me. It will begin its work on Tuesday. We will defend the views that the CHP has formed to date there as well."

Tanrıkulu used the following expressions in his speech:

"We are going through difficult and important times. There is truly great pressure, there is injustice. There is no democracy in Turkey. We are fighting against all of this. We are everywhere in Turkey, we are in the fields. At the same time, of course, we are in Parliament; we are fighting there as well. We are fighting for democracy, for justice, and for economic prosperity. We have not stopped until today, we have not taken even a single step back.

We are also in favor of peace in Turkey. Let there be no weapons, no conflict, no violence, and no terrorism. We are in favor of resolving Turkey's Kurdish issue through a consensus. A commission has been established in Parliament. 10 members have been appointed from the CHP. One of them is me. It will begin its work on Tuesday. We will defend the views that the CHP has formed to date there as well.

"IT TELLS YOU WHAT IS CLOSEST TO THE TRUTH"

We will not take a single step back from our own views, for peace, and for justice. But taking this as an excuse, posts are truly being made from many fake accounts and troll accounts. Some well-intentioned people also believe these accounts and make posts about me that are lies, false, and contain insults. I have filed lawsuits before, I have warned. We are getting results. And then people call on the phone:

'Oh, just give this up' and so on. Look, all of that information is wrong. We are open to criticism, but not to insults, not to slander. Therefore, even if you ask Grok, it will tell you what is closest to the truth. So, do not make these posts, do not be upset. My lawyers will open an investigation, and then you will be forced to call me, you will plead; this is not just anything.

Just a warning. Greetings and love to you all from Diyarbakır."
