CHP municipal council member assaults journalist

The violence continued even after the journalist fell from his seat to the floor. The journalist, who received kicks to his head, lost consciousness. The assailant then fled the scene.

Restaurant employees assisted the journalist, who lay unconscious on the floor for minutes.

JOURNALISTS CONDEMN THE ATTACK
Journalist Hakan Sataroğlu, who was attacked, has filed a criminal complaint against the assailant. The Balıkesir Journalists Association also condemned the attack in a published statement.
