Following the visit, CHP Group Deputy Chairman Gökhan Günaydın made a statement on behalf of the delegation. Günaydın stated, "They are inside with solidarity and determination. Their message to the outside is this: 'As long as you remain strong on the outside, we continue to remain strong here.'"
The delegation visited Beykoz Mayor Alaattin Köseler, Beşiktaş Mayor Rıza Akpolat, and Esenyurt Mayor Ahmet Özer, who were arrested and sent to prison following operations, as well as Tayfun Kahraman, who was convicted within the scope of the Gezi Park trial.
The visits lasted approximately 2 hours.
