Simultaneous operations were carried out in 21 provinces as part of an illegal betting and money laundering investigation conducted by the Adana Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
Pro-government journalist Rasim Ozan Kütahyalı was also detained in the operations targeting 200 suspects. It was learned that Kütahyalı was detained at his home in Istanbul.
CHP Istanbul Deputy Cemal Enginyurt made a post about Rasim Ozan Kütahyalı on his social media account.
Reminding that Kütahyalı had been 'predicting' the operations in advance, Enginyurt stated, "Astrologer Rasim was publishing lists every day, saying who would be taken in. Rasim just couldn't foresee his own future."
