CHP's Emir: Wealth Fund is being shielded from Court of Accounts oversight
CHP Group Deputy Chairman Murat Emir stated that a Constitutional Court ruling has been rendered ineffective by the signature of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, adding that the Turkey Wealth Fund has been removed from the oversight of the Court of Accounts.
CHP Group Deputy Chairman Emir reacted to the 'lack of oversight' on his social media account.
In his statement regarding the matter, Murat Emir said:
"With President Erdoğan's signature, they have nullified the Constitutional Court ruling and completely shielded the Wealth Fund under their management from Court of Accounts oversight.
They are doing everything to spend the budgets of the companies and institutions under their control as they please, to finance their politics, and to distribute double salaries.
They are doing everything to escape the oversight they dislike."
