CHP figure reacts to non-prosecution decision in Sinan Ateş investigation
The Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has issued a decision of non-prosecution for 22 individuals, including former MHP MP Olcay Kılavuz, in the Sinan Ateş assassination investigation. CHP Deputy Chair Gökçe Gökçen shared a post on the subject on her official X account.
CHP Deputy Chair Gökçe Gökçen stated, "Sinan Ateş was murdered in the heart of this country's capital for a political purpose. While on one side there are those who did not even share a message of condolence, on the other side there are millions from every viewpoint waiting for true justice.
There is a family living with security concerns. Let those who think they have closed the file today with a non-prosecution decision know that those responsible will be held accountable sooner or later."
Gökçen's post is as follows:
