CHP files lawsuit against protocol between Ministry of National Education and Ülkü Ocakları
Following the revelation that a protocol had been signed between the Ministry of National Education (MEB) and Ülkü Ocakları via a letter sent to schools in Bursa, the Republican People's Party (CHP) will file a lawsuit on Thursday, January 9, to cancel the protocol signed between the Ministry of National Education's General Directorate of Lifelong Learning and the Ülkü Ocakları Education and Culture Foundation.
A protocol was signed and put into effect between the Ministry of National Education's General Directorate of Lifelong Learning and the Ülkü Ocakları Education and Culture Foundation for the purpose of organizing general, vocational, and technical courses within the scope of non-formal education activities.
Thus, Ülkü Ocakları gained the authority to organize events and open courses in schools.
The CHP will file a lawsuit for the cancellation of the protocol signed between the Ministry of National Education's General Directorate of Lifelong Learning and the Ülkü Ocakları Education and Culture Foundation.
Suat Özçağdaş, the Deputy Chairman responsible for the Ministry of National Education, along with members of parliament and the CHP organization, will hold a press statement in front of the Ankara Administrative Courts regarding the matter.
