CHP's Günaydın reacts to AKP's 'ban' via TRT: You will end up in the dustbin of history
Reacting to the police blocking the march organized by the CHP Istanbul Provincial Presidency to the TRT building, CHP Group Deputy Chairman Gökhan Günaydın said, "It is free for the state television TRT, which operates on our taxes, to broadcast slander that goes beyond partisanship, but it is forbidden to protest this attitude."
The march that the CHP Istanbul Provincial Presidency planned to hold from in front of Akmerkez to the TRT Ulus building, demanding that the Ekrem İmamoğlu and Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IBB) hearings be broadcast live on TRT, was blocked by riot police and water cannon vehicles (TOMA).
CHP Group Deputy Chairman Gökhan Günaydın reacted to this obstruction with a video he shared on his social media account.
In his post, Günaydın stated the following:
"It is free for the state television TRT, which operates on our taxes, to broadcast slander that goes beyond partisanship, but it is forbidden to protest this attitude... Together with your bans, you will all end up in the dustbin of history..."
