CHP heads to RTÜK building to protest announced penalties!
A call for protest has come from the CHP against the 'İmamoğlu' penalties announced by the Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK). CHP officials will go to the front of the RTÜK building at 20:30 to hold a press statement.
The Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK) has rained down penalties on Sözcü TV, Halk TV, Tele1, and NOW TV, citing their broadcasts regarding Ekrem İmamoğlu. Sözcü TV was given a 10-day 24/7 screen blackout penalty.
A reaction to the penalties came from the Republican People's Party (CHP). It was reported through a statement made by the CHP press office that party officials and members have decided to protest in front of the RTÜK building.
Accordingly, the Republican People's Party Group will hold a statement today (Thursday, March 27) at 20:30 in front of the RTÜK building to protest the Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK), which issued penalties to many television channels.
