CHP, IYI Party, AKP and MHP reach consensus: "US bases should be closed and a NOTE should be issued to the US"

Bolu Mayor Tanju Özcan stated in a post on his social media account today that the Bolu Municipal Council has unanimously accepted a motion calling for the closure of the Kürecik and İncirlik bases in Turkey, which he claims belong to the US—a partner of Israel—and for US aircraft carriers to leave the Eastern Mediterranean.

In his post regarding the matter, Mayor Özcan said, "Just now, our motion, which includes calls for the closure of the Kürecik and İncirlik bases belonging to the US, a partner of murderous Israel, and for US aircraft carriers to leave the Eastern Mediterranean, and for the government to issue a NOTE, has been decided upon with the “UNANIMOUS VOTE” of CHP, AK Party, MHP, and IYI Party members.

I hope Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will not remain indifferent to our call, which carries the joint will of not only CHP and IYI Party members but also AK Party and MHP members," he said.

Our Call to the Office of the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey!

In Gaza,

One of the most brutal massacres in human history has been taking place since October 7, 2023. As members of the Bolu Municipal Council, we condemn the terrorist state of Israel.

The terrorist state of Israel is slaughtering thousands of children and women before our eyes with the help of its ally, the US.

Israel unfortunately draws this courage from the US, which is a scourge on the world.

The whole world knows that if the US were to withdraw this support, Israel would be forced to take a step back.

For this, it is necessary to make certain political moves to create an impact on world public opinion and generate social pressure.

In this context, for the US to cut off its aid and support to the murderous state of Israel:

1-The US “Kürecik radar base” established in Malatya must be closed to use.

2-A 48-hour deadline must be given for the US aircraft and personnel at the İncirlik Base to leave the country.

3-A NOTE must be issued to the US for the US aircraft carriers sent to the Eastern Mediterranean, which threaten our security and that of the region, to leave the region.

Taking these steps will please the great Turkish Nation and will go down in history as concrete steps taken to end the massacre in Gaza.
