CHP Mayor Menderes Dal's office furniture seized: 100 million lira debt
The furniture in the office of Döşemealtı Mayor Menderes Dal has been seized due to the non-payment of a debt of approximately 100 million lira to a creditor company.
A company that provided services to Antalya's Döşemealtı Municipality for 70 million lira applied to the enforcement office, claiming it could not collect its debt, which has reached nearly 100 million lira including interest. Evaluating the application, the enforcement office approved the creditor company's request to seize the items in the office of the Mayor of Döşemealtı in response to the debt.
Following the decision, lawyers for the creditor company entered the municipal building accompanied by enforcement officers and police. After a meeting with Döşemealtı Mayor Dal, the office chair, desk, computer, sofa set, television, massage chair, cabinets, and chandeliers were recorded.

Moving company crews packed the seized items from the office and loaded them onto a truck. The seized items were taken to a warehouse.
Ersun Yıldız, one of the lawyers for the creditor company, told reporters that the company he represents is owed 100 million lira by the Döşemealtı Municipality, including interest.

Explaining that the enforcement procedure against the Döşemealtı Municipality due to the debt was carried out as of today, Yıldız said, "We carried out this enforcement procedure in the mayor's office. We performed the seizure and impoundment of the items in the office accompanied by enforcement officers."

Lawyer Bengisu Başak Okuyan Çura stated that the desk, chair, sofa set, television, and many other items in the mayor's office were seized.

Stating that they had the opportunity to meet with Mayor Dal during the enforcement proceedings, Çura said, "The mayor told us that they were not in a position to pay the debt.

Since he could not present us with a payment plan, we were forced to carry out the enforcement procedure."
