CHP move from Cemil Tugay, rumored to be joining AKP: Added back

İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Cemil Tugay has been added back to the WhatsApp group containing members who were elected to the council from the CHP in the local elections, which he had left some time ago.

It had been stated that some council members had also left the group following Tugay.

Cemil Tugay's departure from the group had brought the allegations that he would join the AKP back to the agenda.

On the other hand, it was learned that Mayor Tugay was added back to the group by İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Mayor Levent Yıldır.

It was stated that some council members who had left the group following Tugay's departure were also included back in the group.

NO POLITICAL DISCUSSIONS WILL TAKE PLACE

According to the information obtained, while it was stated that the main reason for Cemil Tugay's departure from the group was political discussions within the group, it was learned that with the decision taken, no political discussions will take place in the group in the future, and the group will be used for the purpose of informing council members and ensuring coordination regarding municipal work.

It was stated that only council members will be in the group, and individuals who are not council members will not be included in the group.
