CHP's Sezgin Tanrıkulu visits Demirtaş and Mızraklı in Edirne
CHP Diyarbakır MP and Deputy Chair of the Parliamentary Human Rights Investigation Commission Sezgin Tanrıkulu visited former HDP Co-Chair Selahattin Demirtaş and former Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Selçuk Mızraklı at the Edirne F-Type Closed Prison.
CHP Diyarbakır MP and Deputy Chair of the Parliamentary Human Rights Investigation Commission Sezgin Tanrıkulu visited Selahattin Demirtaş and Selçuk Mızraklı at the Edirne F-Type Closed Prison.
Making a statement after the visit, Tanrıkulu stated that Demirtaş and Mızraklı were in good health and high spirits, and conveyed their greetings.
Tanrıkulu made the following statement after the visit:
"I am in Edirne. I visited my friends Selahattin Demirtaş and Selçuk Mızraklı at the Edirne Closed Prison.
Both of them were in very good health. Their morale was very high. They send their greetings and love to all the friends, citizens, and fellow countrymen who ask after them.
We are going through a critical period. He had an important meeting yesterday as well, and shared his views with the public. Ultimately, he stated that he would continue to do whatever is necessary for peace, justice, and freedom, just as he has done in the past. His only expectation is for efforts to be made for the peace and tranquility of our citizens.
