CHP Deputy Chairman and Zonguldak MP Deniz Yavuzyılmaz announced that as of October 1, 2025, a current exchange rate adjustment has been made to the guarantee amounts paid to companies operating bridges, tunnels, and highways built under the Build-Operate-Transfer model. In his statement on his social media account, Yavuzyılmaz noted the following:
"If anyone can do it, the AKP can! A current exchange rate adjustment has been made to the guarantee amounts paid to companies operating bridges, tunnels, and highways built under the Build-Operate-Transfer model. As of October 1, 2025, for the Osmangazi Bridge; the toll for passing vehicles will remain at 795 TL, but the vehicle passage fee guaranteed by the Treasury to the company is rising to 2,360 TL.
The difference amount that the Treasury will pay to the company for each vehicle passing through the bridge will rise to 1,565 TL.
For the Çanakkale Bridge; the toll for passing vehicles will remain at 795 TL, but the vehicle passage fee guaranteed by the Treasury to the company is rising to 1,029 TL. The difference amount that the Treasury will pay to the company for each vehicle passing through the bridge will rise to 234 TL.
For the Eurasia Tunnel; the toll for passing vehicles will remain at 225 TL, but the vehicle passage fee guaranteed by the Treasury to the company is rising to 289 TL. The difference amount that the Treasury will pay to the company for each vehicle passing through the tunnel will rise to 64 TL. For the Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge; the toll for passing vehicles will remain at 80 TL, but the vehicle passage fee guaranteed by the Treasury to the company is rising to 248 TL. The difference amount that the Treasury will pay to the company for each vehicle passing through the bridge will rise to 168 TL.
Furthermore, if the guaranteed daily vehicle passage numbers are not met in these projects, the Treasury is obliged to pay companies 2,360 TL for each vehicle not meeting the target for the Osmangazi Bridge, 1,029 TL for the Çanakkale Bridge, 289 TL for the Eurasia Tunnel, and 248 TL for the YSS Bridge!"
